Happy Veteran's Day

Remember the boy who just a year ago would only draw a scribble? The above was his response to the Veteran's Day assembly at school. (For the record, the people on the ground are soldiers crawling.) Thanks be to God for my amazing boy and for the men who willingly fight for the rights we take for granted.
In honor of my father, grandfather, and other family members who have served....

Really awesome drawing! Isn't it wonderful when they just blossom right in front of your eyes with a new skill!

Toby is a remarkable child and an undescribable blessing to us.

Toby would be interested to know how significant his picture really is to his family. In addition to his Grandfather, who manned the artillery in VietNam, and his Great-Grandfather, who was on an aircraft carrier in WWII, his Great-Great Grandfather fought in the ground war in France in WWI. He not only won his American Citizenship by joining the US war overseas, he was also awarded a Purple Heart.
